The side of the wand gently cuts the fibroid or polyp and suctions them through a small open window into the wand and out of your body. Once the fibroid or polyp has been extracted, the wand is removed from the uterus.

The entire MyoSure® procedure can be performed in as little as 15-20 minutes. Following your visit, you may experience some cramping, mild pain, nausea, or vomiting.
