Annie Kim, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist with fellowship training in advanced minimally invasive surgery.Dr. Kim specializes in the laparoscopic and robotic treatment of fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts and endometriosis. She is also skilled at evaluation of abnormal pap smears, contraception, sexually transmitted infections, and more. She has authored several studies on gynecologic surgical outcomes and trends, presented at national conferences, and is published in a number of peer-reviewed journals. She is a private practice surgeon at Cohen Medical Practice affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Kim majored in Psychology and PreProfessional at the University of Notre Dame, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Inspired by her semester abroad in Puebla, Mexico, she developed a passion for women’s health. She moved to New York City to obtain her MD from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed her internship in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles and the remainder of residency training at McGovern Medical School – University of Texas, Houston. Dr. Kim moved back to New York after being accepted to an AAGL fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Montefiore Medical Center / Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. She underwent two years of specialized surgical training in laparoscopic, robotic, and other minimally invasive techniques.
